Missing my stories? Find out when I'll be back to posting!
HELLO! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING? IT'S BEEN FOREVER SINCE WE LAST SPOKE!! HOW IS YOUR MOM? THE KIDS? IS YOUR DOG STILL DOING THAT WEIRD THING WHERE HE STARES AT YOU WHENEVER PELATON COMMERCIALS COME ON?
Okay, it's not that bad, but it does seem I've lost my Fast or Write crown. When I started this webpage it was a way to get my writing brain back after a TBI (traumatic brain injury). It has more than done it's job.
However, over time, my goals have indeed changed. There are so many projects I work on and sometimes the website suffers. I offer no apologies, it's just the nature of the writing game.
Much of my writing time is going to a side project that isn't related to FoW. I'm incredibly excited about the side project and the idea that in a year or so, it may actually help my writing, but it requires a great deal of work and focus.
Am I still planning on writing for FoW? Absolutely. You'll just see far fewer original stories. Starting in April, my goal is one story a month. This may seem like a let down, but the fact that I'm still working on this is really a big stretch for me right now.
I still have plans to work on the Drawloween story with Gail based on Indiscriminate Art's work. I still need a few items from her before I can get the whole picture, but we've pushed the release of the book back at least a year. Once I have a clearer idea of the release, you will be sure to know!
I am still cleaning up stories and novels not on the site in order to find a path in the traditional publishing world. I am absolutely considering self-publishing a few items, especially a short story collection based on the FoW items. Once again, you will definitely know when it's available.
You can always send me prompts! I still love creating stories based of something random and, now that I've curtailed the FoW schedule, it'll be even easier for me to showcase your prompt each month.
While I still love writing for my FoW readers, but I'm now at a point where my writing needs to be working for me. I have some big goals for the next year and I hope to be able to share them with you as I go.
