So...October didn't go quite as planned. See below for what I hope will be my new-ish projects.
My goal for Oct was one new spooky story a week to put on the website. That clearly did not happen. I wanted it to happen. I wanted a lot of things to happen that didn't and I had some things happen I wished wouldn't.
One good thing is there IS a story you can read! Ink & Sword published my short story 'Season's Journey' in their Sept/Oct 2019 issue. Feel free to read and subscribe to their free ezine for stories by new authors!
In November, I probably won't have time to put new stories on the website. I'm currently looking for a new job on top of participating in NaNoWriMo. I haven't tried to write a novel since the head injury and I'm a little hesitant to try again, but there's this bothersome short story that INSISTS on being expanded (one of two so far).
As I really am trying to make money from my writing, it's getting harder and harder to put things up for free. I still love my readers and want to shower you with my paltry words, but I have to have confidence that the words are good and my work deserves payment.
2020 is a mystery to me, so we're going to have to take this one month at a time. I may try to blog through NaNo this year and let you in on all the whining I plan to do whilst writing a story I can't even give you genre of without giving away a major plot point! All I ask is that you bear with me. It'll all work out...somehow!
