Remember those collaboration stories? I have an update! You have been incredibly patient with me in waiting for the Mac & Mills stories. When I first set the timeline, I honestly had no clue how hard it was to set up creative time for two people with wildly divergent schedules. I have learned so much (mostly, under-promise and over-deliver).
As we speak, Jason Foux is working on his story. He is a big believer in actually writing as one is supposed to other than spewing pages onto the screen and hoping for the best, so be patient. His schedule is the most difficult to work around and he's a very diligent person. In other words, he will take as much time as he needs to give you the best story possible! What CAN I tell you about the stories? I've already mentioned there will be two stories that have a similar timeline. Basically we're each writing our own characters but they will be in the same area at the same time and, unknowingly, be working against the same baddies. We've decided it's best if the stories take place before any story we've previously written. This is because 1) it's easier to ensure we don't mess up established timelines and 2) since we're both writing more in those worlds, it won't destroy any of our upcoming stories. I can also tell you it takes place in New Orleans even though neither character is from that part of Louisiana. I could tell you more but, since Jason has not completed his story, I'm not sure what will need to be kept back. I don't want to ruin any surprises! While we are on track for giving you the stories late this month, I will not make the mistake of promising again. I will build up to the final reveal once I have a definite date (i.e. once my story is written). I fully believe it will be worth the wait!
