New prompt from the inestimable, Liane B. on FB. She gave me 3 prompts, but I'm only using two for this story. I'll keep the third for another day.
Prompts: - an invisible prankster's plan backfires - scientist runs experiments on an unusual subject

Today's prompt comes from the amazingly talented TH (or rather, from her writing group). The prompt was given to each member and she has kindly passed it along to me.
Requested by T.H. "You walk into your house and it’s completely different — furniture, decor, all changed. It doesn’t look like the same house anymore. And nobody’s home." Getting away from the mythical with prompt 4 though you might not know it from the title of the prompt giver. However, even in the real world, not everything goes according to plan.

Sadly, I did not get a prompt yesterday. I figured this might happen in the beginning, so I have a contingency plan! The internet is bursting with prompts. Today's was taken from The Fake Redhead Writes. If you haven't seen the prompts, I recommend it! Most are hilarious and with 300 posted, you're bound to find something to kickstart an idea.
Yes, this is the second story with a mythological water woman. I offer no apologies for the theme. I do offer a slight apology if the story seems in any way incoherent. The second day of my challenge finds me with a fever. Be warned!
